First Baptist Cutler Ridge continues to look for ways to be involved in the life of our community. Our men have responded to the challenge to meet the needs of people in our neighborhoods as well as throughout the nation.
We understand first and foremost that service apart from God’s will produces limited results. Therefore, our men meet every month (usually on the third Saturday) to fellowship together over breakfast and to seek God’s presence and direction through worship and Bible Study. This time together prepares us for the challenges we face as single men, husbands, and fathers, not to mention the variety of roles we play in the workplace and in our neighborhoods.
We believe that we demonstrate our love for Christ when we serve others. As a part of our men’s ministry, you are given the opportunity to help various community organizations.

Disaster Relief through the Florida Baptist Convention is our premier men’s ministry (even though ladies are involved too). Many of the people in our church are grateful for the help we received from others following Hurricane Andrew in 1992. We demonstrate our gratitude with more than a word of thanks. Several members of our congregation serve on Disaster Relief teams and have assisted in providing help in areas affected by hurricanes and other natural disasters. Our folks responded to the needs in the New York area following the events of 9/11, as well.
